What Is "Add to Home Screen"?
Playoff Party is a Progressive Web App (PWA). That means you can install it directly from your browser — just like downloading from an app store, but faster and with zero storage bloat. Once installed, it launches full-screen, loads instantly, and feels exactly like a native app. You'll get quick access to create events, track scores, manage tournament brackets, and keep up with the leaderboard during your stag do, hen party, birthday, or corporate event.
Install on iPhone & iPad (iOS)
Open in Safari
Navigate to playoffparty.app in your Safari browser. This only works in Safari — Chrome or Firefox on iOS won't show the install option.
Tap the Share button
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing upwards).
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
You may need to scroll down in the share sheet to find this option. Tap "Add to Home Screen".
Confirm the name and tap Add
The name "Playoff Party" will be pre-filled. Tap "Add" in the top-right corner to install the app to your home screen.
Tip: This feature requires iOS 11.3 or later. Make sure you're using Safari — Apple doesn't support Add to Home Screen in other browsers on iOS.
Install on Android
Open in Chrome
Navigate to playoffparty.app in Google Chrome. Other browsers like Samsung Internet also support this feature.
Tap the three-dot menu
Tap the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome to open the browser menu.
Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
You may see either option depending on your device. Both do the same thing — install Playoff Party as an app.
Confirm and install
Tap "Install" or "Add" to confirm. The Playoff Party icon will appear on your home screen, ready to launch like any other app.
Tip: On some Android devices, Chrome may show an "Install app" banner automatically at the bottom of the screen. Just tap it to install instantly.

Open in Chrome or Edge
Navigate to playoffparty.app in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your computer.
Look for the install icon
Click the install icon in the address bar (it looks like a monitor with a download arrow), or click the three-dot menu and select "Install Playoff Party".
Confirm and launch
Click Install in the dialog. Playoff Party will open in its own window and appear in your Start menu, Dock, or app launcher.

Why can't I install it from Chrome on iPhone?
